While it is said that you eat with your eyes first, a restaurant that offers spectacular views will definitely take your dining experience to greater heights…literally!
So if you’re looking to enjoy a meal with a view, here are six of our favourite eateries where you can feast your eyes while savouring a scrumptious meal.
ROOFTOP VIEWS
VUE
Level 19 OUE Bayfront
Monday to Friday: Noon to 2pm, 5.30pm to midnight
Saturday: 5.30pm to midnight
True to its name, which means “view” in French, VUE offers some of the best vistas of the Marina Bay area.
Start with some pre-dinner drinks at its rooftop spritz bar (Singapore’s first!) that focuses on wine-based cocktails. We recommend getting handcrafted cocktails like Caribbean Landmark ($28), Klubnika ($26) and Garden of Eden ($26) or build your own spritz to sip on while you soak up the magnificent views.
At the heart of its menu are binchotan-grilled specialities, with standouts such as the American USDA Prime Ribeye ($158 for 380g) and the Japanese A5 Emperor “Kokuou” Black Wagyu Sirloin ($178 for 150g).
For a taste of chef specialities cooked with the season’s finest produce, go for the six-course Autumn Omakase Dinner ($388, add $175 for wine pairing). There’s also a two- ($98) or three-course ($118) Executive Set Lunch on weekdays which also showcases specially sourced ingredients and the autumn season’s best yields.
1-Atico
#55-01 ION Orchard
Open daily from noon to 11pm
For an ultra-chic dining experience, look no further than 1-Atico. This multi-concept rooftop dining destination offers not just three distinct dining experiences, but also three different views. Its location on the 55th floor of ION Orchard means you get a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the island city.
FLNT specialises in Nikkei-inspired cuisine, a contemporary blend of Japanese and Peruvian flavours, but if you prefer to feast on Argentinian flavours, get a seat at FIRE. There’s also Atico Lounge which is perfect for kicking back with a drink or two.
We suggest heading over to FLNT for your first visit to savour its tender and smoky Gindara ($48), a grilled miso cod dish paired with tangy Aji Verde (Peruvian green sauce), or the Kohitsuji Yaki ($60), grilled lamb rack laced with red pepper garlic sauce.

Foodwise, don’t miss the Birria Beef Tacos ($22), pan-fried corn tortillas filled with slow-cooked beef short ribs smothered in mole (a traditional sauce used in Mexican cuisine) and shredded cheese, served with a rich beef consommé. Other must-orders are the shucked-to-order Seasonal Live Oysters ($25 to $40 for six); Seafood Linguine ($18), cheesy pasta with prawns, clams and squid; and St. Louis Pork Ribs ($36 half rack), Mibrasa grilled pork ribs glazed in BBQ sauce.
