This walking version of the bicycle tour above lets you walk in the footsteps of Tan Ah Huat and learn about the hardships of the early immigrants living in Chinatown during the 1920s. The tour also starts from Amoy Hotel.

Aminah In Kampong Glam (Walking Tour)

Led by fictional character Aminah, this theatrical tour will take you on a journey of emotions as you learn about the hardships of the residents of Kampong Glam. See a different side of Kampong Glam as Aminah shares stories of her childhood, perceptions and perseverance in the ethnic enclave from the 1920s to 1970s.
