Indonesian hospitality and lifestyle brand Potato Head’s Singapore outpost in Chinatown is housed in a restored four-storey Art Deco building.
Its breezy rooftop bar is a great place to kick back with tropical cocktails, groovy beats and chill vibes while tucking into Three Buns’ signature burgers, decadent sliders and sweet treats against a sunset-over-the-skyline backdrop.
2. Lady Wu

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday – 5pm to 3pm
Located in the heart of Boat Quay, Lady Wu is inspired by and named after Wu Zetian, the first empress of the Tang Dynasty and the only female emperor in Chinese history.
Catered mainly to the ladies, Lady Wu features a regular rotation of live acts and DJs, along with special cocktails at affordable prices.
Every Thursday from 5pm to 8pm is Empress Nights where ladies can enjoy free-flow of X-Bubbly, X-Rated and Zonin Prosecco. All night long on Thursdays, ladies and gents can indulge in Zonin Prosecco at $50++ per bottle.

4. Smith Street Taps

Enjoy your favourite hawker dish with a smooth pint of craft beer from this beer stall in Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre, Singapore’s largest hawker centre.
Founded in 2014 by two of Singapore’s earliest craft beer pioneers, the stall offers a rotating beer selection, promising its fans varying types of beers with different flavours every season.
5. Druggists
119 Tyrwhitt Road
Opening hours: Monday to Thursday – 4pm to midnight, Friday to Sunday – 3pm to midnight
Sharing the same building with the Singapore Chinese Druggists Association, this watering hole is famous for its 23 rotating craft beers on tap. Do not be fooled by its old building exterior. Enter the space and you’ll be greeted with tasteful warm lighting and a striking blue paint job contrasted against its original floor tiles.
Enjoy its speciality range of beers with nibbles, burgers and tacos like The Battered Squid, Kaki Fry, Har Cheong Gai, Beef Kofta Tacos and Chicken Rendang Tacos.

6. RPM by D.Bespoke

In Japan, a league of nightspots have become immensely popular over the years for their warm ambience, curated music selection and amazing drinks. These are unofficially known as “audiophile bars”.
In Singapore, we have RPM by D.Bespoke which offers a selection of Japanese shochu and cocktails with groovy music. Vinyl lovers will want to check out its impressive collection of vintage vinyl that line the walls in floor-to-ceiling wooden shelves.
7. Overflow

This cosy bar, nestled in a garden next to Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 at Hub & Spoke, has nightly live performances by well-loved local bands. Different acts perform Mandopop, Cantopop or rock and roll hits daily from 7.30pm from Tuesday to Thursday, and at 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday.

Conceptualised by co-founders of local music collectives Darker Than Wax and Ice Cream Sundays, this music-centric bar and restaurant is a social space where local and regional DJs and record collectors can curate music for the bar’s guests.

9. Night Safari

Go on a wild nocturnal adventure at Night Safari, the world’s first nocturnal wildlife park. Located within Mandai Wildlife Reserve, it is home to over 900 animals from about 100 species.
Hop on the tram for a 40-minute guided ride through six geographical zones including the Himalayan Foothills and Equatorial Africa. Look out for animals like Tasmanian devil, fishing cat, grey-handed night monkey and sloth bear in their naturalistic habitats.
For close encounters with a variety of nocturnal animals, explore the four walking trails – Fishing Cat Trail, Leopard Trail, East Lodge Trail and Wallaby Trail.
Don’t miss the Creatures of the Night show where otters, fennec fox, raccoon dog and bearded pigs display their natural talents and unique skills.
10. Creepy Tales of Singapore Tour

Horror lovers and history buffs, you don’t want to miss this guided tour which brings you to the creepy sites in Singapore with “ghost hunting” equipment and regales you with chilling World War II stories.
Get glimpses of Singapore’s dark history and urban legends when you visit eerie places like a secluded hill rumoured to be a wartime execution site, a haunted coastal gun battery and one of the world’s largest Chinese cemeteries which is said to house over 100,000 tombs.
