Laos Eat

Lao cuisine features lots of fresh herbs and vegetables, with many regional variations, and some dishes are similar to those found in northern Thailand. A typical Lao meal with a variety of dishes is usually eaten with sticky rice. French-influenced food come in the form of baguettes, pate sandwiches, ragouts and Lao-French fusion dishes. Morning markets are the best places to sample a wide range of local specialities.
