To stay up-to-date and provide guests with one-of-a-kind experiences, makeovers and updates are par for the course for hotels.

For Grand Hyatt Singapore, which turned 50 last year, an infrastructural and design transformation was needed to take its key focus on wellness, sustainability and innovation to the next level.

The five-star, luxury hotel on Scotts Road embarked on the first phase of its 21st century makeover in October last year with the closure of The Terrace Wing as well as the facilities and outlets that the wing housed such as Damai Spa and Fitness Centre and the swimming pool. The hotel will close completely on 19 September and will reopen in the first quarter of next year.

The all-new Grand Hyatt Singapore will house nature-centred wellness spaces including a five-storey cascading garden and waterfall feature, lounging daybeds in the guestrooms and an outdoor fitness area extension to the new Damai Spa & Fitness Centre.

For a colourful depiction of the memorable areas of the hotel and its upcoming new spaces and urban landscaping, check out the vibrant artworks by local muralists Ripple Root on the hoardings outdoors as well as the hotel’s public spaces.

There’s still time to book a stay and live it up at the hotel. We highlight four ways to celebrate grand moments at the hotel.
